INTRODUCTION
1.1   Background
Teaching English in our country has been developed extensively because English is an international language in the world. Therefore, Indonesian government has brought it as a local since at the elementary school. In teaching English vocabulary as an element or language is considered as the most important factor in increasing the mastered if the students are still lacking of vocabulary. Vocabulary is a part of language learning that need continuing growth and development by both native and non native speakers long after grammar and pronunciation elementary school until senior high Scholl. In language teaching preparation program in our country, more and attention being given to improve some technique for teaching vocabulary.
Learning vocabulary as a foreign language seems easy but some students feel fear. The teacher of English should find out solution by crating efficient and effective technique of teaching in teaching English vocabulary, besides that, the teachers should establish condition which makes teaching vocabulary possible. The learning will occur within reasonable period of time.
Realizing how important the vocabulary and how difficult students to build up the teachers of English have provided students with rich exciting exercise which are expected to help vocabulary mush be???????????????????????

A.    Backround of The Study
English is an important means of communication, which is used by many countries in this world. It plays  an important role in the process of  modernization as an International  language. This is why the Indonesian government chooses English as the first foreign language to be taught in schools (Ramelan, 1992:3). By putting it  as one of the subjects in the curriculum, hopefully, students will have an ability to use English, and when they have mastered it, the way for them to get in touch with the International community is wide open.
Recently from kindergarten to Senior High School (SMA), students learn English in formal and non-formal ways. They realize how important English is in this life, so they intend to master it such a way that they can use that language to communicate with other people. Based on curriculum of 2004, the scope of teaching English at Junior High Schools includes four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. In this paper, the writer will perform reading  by looking at the consideration that success in reading will be  very important to students both for academic and vocational advancement.
Although English has been taught for a long time, the result is still considered unsatisfactory especially in reading comprehension. It is because the Indonesian students spend little time to read and discuss books. They think that they???

INTRODUCTION
A.    The Background of the Study
Writing is one of four skills in English which skill should be given much attention in teaching language and teach it previously to the students. In order that they are not let behind and can take a role in the modern society. However, the writing skill is a complex and sometimes difficult to teach; it requires mastery of not only grammatical and rhetorical devices but also of the conceptual and judgment element. There are many various skills necessary for good writing composition. It has five general components of main ideas. They are language use, mechanical skill, statement of content, stylistic skill, and judgment skill[1]
There are many reasons why writing is necessary to teach. One of them is to transmit ideas to people, especially to those who are a distance in time and space. Another reason is the writing process help you sort out and organize random thoughts, clarify what you really think and develop ideas. That is why people want to write because writing can be a media to communicate with others in one community or wider world.
